The areas in question represent the 11 main aspects
whereby community work and life are expressed: these
are each subdivided into sub-aspects, known as "activities",
which represent in turn the tangible tools that
the team makes available to chart the "change".
From the chronological point of view, the individual
educational and / or therapeutic course essentially
coincides with the following fundamental phases
of the community program:
the initial welcome, corresponding to the client-community
contact, set up before entry to the community;
initial phase of the stay or welcome, corresponding
to the initial three months> such a stage is
of fundamental importance in so far as it coincides
with the work of gathering the information necessary
for then making a decision on the contents of the
individual educational / therapeutic plan;
the actual stay, of variable duration, according
to the case;
the final phase, aimed at assisting with the removal
from the community and the preparation of reintegration
with the nuclear family of origin, where possible,
or to form alternative solutions, as indicated by
the relevant authorities.
Upon entry into the Community by the client, the
Pedagogical-Cultural supervisor will be involved
in the enrolment to school or other training agencies
present in the territory of the client, if they
are still of school age.
The staff at the centre, together with the Scholastic
Institute, evaluate the possibility and the ways
of integrating the client, working to the individual
educational plan and the didactic plan or formulating
individual methods with the schools (home schooling,
workshops etc).
For users who have completed their training obligations,
there are workshops and orientation within the community
or the opportunity to undertake professional training
courses.
