PROMOTE the quality of work in private,
asking oneself about valid alternatives to the existing
propositions, with respect to the most faithful
and convinced of the values expressed by the by
the Constitution of the Republic and, in particular,
articles 2 and 3, from which the Statute of the
Co-operative takes its inspiration; In this regard,
it seems relevant to provide a summary of the observations
in a scientific way.
The following was put to members and stakeholders
at the recent National Congress on "The Community
for double diagnosis" organised by the Co-operative
in conjunction with the Psychiatric Institute of
the Catholic University in Rome:
"The presence of personality disorders is a
widely confirmed fact in the range of patients who
use the services provided for the treatment of disturbances
arising from substance abuse. Since the second half
of the 1980s, the availability of tools of diagnostic
tools which facilitate the elucidation of defined
criteria of different types of DSM has allowed the
publication of many works which demonstrate how
the disturbances of [Asse II] are present - in the
clinical conditions that are characterised by addiction
to a variety of substances - the percentage oscillates
between 50 and 100% of cases, with a significant
percentage of multiple disorders."
Our work will adapt to these new scientific points;
