As well as the team and the staff, there are four
special commissions for the development of specific
activities which work across all the community and
which meet once a month:
1. The quality commission: tasked with planning
and organising procedures and quality training to
define the centres' plans, evaluate and approve
the activities of the community projects for the
clients with the aim of maximising the internal
use of the centres, through a careful management
of resources, in accordance with the objectives
of the co-operative and its "mission".
2. The cultural commission, which plans,
co-ordinates and follows the activities which are
of a cultural and recreational character, that the
children undertake in the course of the year. This
commission prepares an annual plan of the places
to visit, including throughout the holiday period.
The role of the cultural commission is therefore
based on an understanding of the educational and
formative role of holidays, daytrips, that the more
autonomous clients can undertake.
3. The logistics commission which, as well
as gathering the needs of the centres, is responsible
for overseeing the balanced management of the centres.
The commission, in particular, is involved in all
elements of the community, but above all with regard
to the increased autonomy of the clients.
4. The employee commission, which is responsible
for evaluating the needs of the various centres
in relation to the needs and problems of management
of human resources, as well as finding the appropriate
solutions. The workers in the community are followed
and trained constantly by professional figures,
both internally and externally. There are three
types of training:
- a basic training, for new starters, irrespective
of their role, generally weekly, undertaken by the
co-ordinators responsible for various sections.
- a continual training, for all elements
of the team, once every three months, over two days
(one of which is dedicated to the organisational
aspects and another to the psychological aspects)
for a total of 15/20 hours
- supervisions, once a month, undertaken
by an external professional, and for psychologists,
doctors and the co-ordinators of the various centres
and / or other members of staff.
With respect to specific projects and particular
needs, the co-operative can, occasionally, offer
training courses for staff in general.
